Great news everyone! We just scheduled an interview with the Groton public access television show “Around the Town”—– this is very exciting for us as theatre performers and just people who love all kinds of media. For all you kids out there – this is where you should be heading. Here’s where someone with a true interest in media can really dig in their teeth. The greatest thing about public access television is that you can learn professional production without paying top dollar. All you have to do is donate a few hours to the access station which means you’re also contributing to your community while you learn.
Together, Ryan and I have been involved in a variety of mediums; media, print, T.V, sitcoms, movies, theatre, opera. This show is a great way to bring together poetry and television. Poetry and Public Access TV are writing and television in their most basic form. Everything springs from poetry and TV is no exception, especially the production side of it. We are looking forward to having the opportunity to explore camera angles and close ups and pans while we perform or interview. Sometimes you have a script or a set list to work with and sometimes you just fly by the seat of your pants as in improv. Let’s see what happens!
The biggest job of an actor is….just don’t bump into each other when you’re on stage! If anyone wants to go and watch it get taped your all welcome. We will be putting the time, date, and location in later posts after we get the clearance from our interviewer, Jane Bouvier. She is a pillar in the community and has an interest in the arts and we are very happy to have our first live interview with her. if you want to see her google video page click here and stay tuned. As always if you have a comment just below this post is a box you can write in to ask questions or make comments.

The Around Town show is broadcast “live” each and every week to homes in Groton, Dunstable, Pepperell and Harvard, Massachusetts. So if your in the mood sit back click on and check us out on our first interview together on April 2nd Thursday night live at 7:30pm and if you miss it you can catch it on reruns Sundays – 12:30pm, 6:30pm – Mondays – 8:00am, 7:30pm – Tuesdays – 11:30am, 7:30pm – Wednesdays – 11:30am, 6:00pm – Thursdays – 11:30am, 7:30pm LIVE – Fridays – 12:00pm, 8:00pm – Saturdays – 12:30pm, 11:00pm
